Our Mission

Hello Blogger world! Chelsea has done such a great job on the first two posts, that we thought it only fair to let me have a stab at it.  We want to let you guys know where are heads and hearts are concerning our mission.  Here is our official mission statement:

Now is the Time Ministries for Women is a Pro-Life centered Non-Profit organization based in Starkville, MS whose goals are to advocate the lives of women and unborn children by providing continual support through and environment which encourages education, personal growth, and experiential learning, and to create a stable community to help both lives thrive before and after the choice for life has been made.



This ministry is a baby in age, but will be a giant, we believe, in the very near future! In short, we want to advocate life... in every way we can. We will stand firmly on a pro-life point of view, but that really is only the beginning of where our heart for this.  If we merely preach at women and couples to choose life, yet expect them to overcome extreme and overwhelming odds if they do so, what have we done?.. Nothing but satisfy a shallow self-righteous attitude of "This is what Jesus would do."

Well, we respectfully disagree; Jesus would have loved the women we're honking at on the side of the road and looking down at outside of the abortion clinic. He would hug them and show them that we can get through this and that it was His blood that He gave to pay for the mistakes that she and others have made, so it's no longer her burden to carry.

This is our mission. To be the way that so many can finally see Jesus is the midst of painstaking circumstances and help them get back on their feet and hold their heads high and their baby in their arms.

We want to advocate life. Let's help these women learn how to parent, how to learn a trade, how to get an education, how to study the Lord's Word!  Let's help these women and support them as they raise a new life and thrive while they do it! Let's be there for them when someone has abused them and give them a safe place to lay their head when no one else has time to care.

Let's love them when so many have taken advantage of, lied to, forgotten about, and stopped caring about these women and even children in crisis.

Heck, let's change the world with a bakery!
